You have filed your tax returns but didn’t have the money to pay or maybe you put off filing or could be you made a huge mistake on your return. You think, “Oh well — I’ll catch up or correct it next year. Before you know it you find yourself several years in arrears and suddenly there is a notice from the IRS.

The IRS has several ways to grab your attention:

  • The IRS levies assets. This is the one of the first tools the IRS uses to “grab” your attention. Works, doesn’t it? You can wake up one morning and find the IRS has cleaned out your checking account.
  • Wage garnishments. Another primary favorite of the IRS. This is where most of your check goes to the IRS until the debt is paid.
  • Back taxes. You filed returns but didn’t have the money to pay and suddenly with penalties and interest you owe several times the amount you originally thought.
  • IRS audits. Auditors are trained to extract more information from you than you have a legal obligation to provide. As a result, they know they can use that fear and ignorance to their advantage.

Our goal is to get you even with the IRS, with what you can afford, and let you start life anew.
